Time Graphguide > Visualizations > Time Graph Test HTML5 Version
The Time Graph component is an enhanced line graph that displays one indicator of one or many data items for a given timespan. The x-axis represent the year and the y-axis the chosen indicator. In the initial view of this Vislet, Sweden is selected and the "Population ages 65+" is visualized during the timespan 1960 to 2010. The indicator being visualized can be change by the combobox on the left side. In the second snapshot multiple regions are selected and can be easily distinguished and compared.
The Time Graph component has a function called "Show Distribution" , which will result in a grey density map of where most of the data items resides. A darker section is representing a higher desity of data values in that area. As shown in snapshot three , the distribution map is changed when the indicator changes.
